Privacy Statement 
 
(to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)) 
 
Garve Public Hall holds renters’ contact details, with their consent, within passwordprotected databases.  
 
The purpose of holding and using the contact details is to book the hall and issue invoices for hires.  Personal data may also be held, with consent, for other community activities that Garve Public Hall considers appropriate. 
 
Renters have the right, at any time, to access their own personal data for checking and updating and to request immediate removal of their data.  Personal data includes email addresses, phone numbers and addresses, but no other information.   
 
Access to the data is restricted to the office bearers of the trust.  Personal data will only be held for as long as the consented purpose continues. 
 
CCTV is in operation for the security of the premises and the protection of users. Recordings are not shared. 
 
Within the meaning of GDPR, the Data Controller is Robert Moir, who can be contacted through garvehall@gmail.com
